Welcome to Alkitabi. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Alkitabi mobile application and website (the "Platform"), operated by Kitabi Corner.

By creating an account, browsing, or placing an order on the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or using the Platform under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, to create an account and place orders.
2. Account Registration
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details.
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.
3. Products and Pricing
- Alkitabi sells books, stationery, office supplies, newspapers, and magazines through the Platform.
- All prices are listed in Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD) unless otherwise stated, and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless noted otherwise.
- We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, images, and prices are accurate, but errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct any errors and to cancel orders affected by a pricing or listing error, with a full refund.
- Product availability is not guaranteed until your order is confirmed.
4. Orders and Payment
- Placing an order through the Platform constitutes an offer to purchase, which we may accept or decline.
- Orders are confirmed once payment is successfully processed.
- We accept payment through the methods listed at checkout. Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers.
- You confirm that any payment information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.
5. Delivery
- We aim to deliver orders within the estimated timeframe shown at checkout, typically 24–48 hours within Kuwait, depending on your location.
- Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed; delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control.
- Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the address provided at checkout.
- It is your responsibility to ensure the delivery address and contact details provided are accurate.
6. Cancellations
- Orders may be cancelled free of charge before they are dispatched.
- Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled but may be eligible for return under our Refund Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including logos, text, graphics, app design, and software, is the property of Kitabi Corner or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or its systems
- Interfere with the security or proper functioning of the Platform
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent orders or reviews
- Resell products purchased through the Platform without our authorization
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these Terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Kuwaiti law, Kitabi Corner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to delivery delays, product unavailability, or technical issues, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kuwait.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
